While Dan Thompson has contributed regularly to Coldharbour Recordings over the years, he dons his Darkness Falls moniker alongside Sam Brown for the first time on the label, yielding Absent Mind.
As the name suggests, the alias represents trance melodies of a broodier tone; surrounded with tech-influenced basslines. The break yields moments of tranquil eeriness, before building to a frenzy.
With plenty of early support and ideal for shifting up the gears in a set or playlist, it's an impressive Coldharbour outing for Darkness Falls.
