Tell us about how you got into Electronic music
Even though I listen to this kind of music in the early 2000, it was not very massive and add to that I lived in Valparaiso, I knew very little about it. Around 2006 I got a couple of videos via Bitorrent and IRC, one of them about the story of a club in Tokio, Japan called Velfarre. In this they played different styles and to my surprise, taken from Europe like Eurobeat and Trance. The other video was about, a now extinct festival, Trance Energy; it was a huge surprise for me to see the same DJs in both videos like Johan Gielen and System F (Ferry Corsten). Since then, I started a crazy race gathering music and looking for places to play in the hope of having festivals like that in our county.
Admirations? Who do you look up to?
A: There is a DJ who I admire because of his energy and performance on stage, Johan Gielen. His sets in Trance Energy were brutal and, in my early beginnings, my sets had many of his tracks in the playlist. Other DJ that inspired me was Yoji Biomehanika, huge DJ from the country of the rising sun. Thanks to him, I was introduced to Hard Trance. Concerning promoting/ producing events, Javier Bussola from Argentina is what I look up to. Seeing how he made the Trance scene grow in the neighbor country makes me think every day in what to do to accomplish the same results here.
Why did you decide to produce your own music?
When I first started mixing in my old and only residency, EL huevo in Valparaiso, I felt like I was missing a signature sound because I always mixed other producers tracks. So for this reason with my brother Tediz we released our first Hard Trance production called ‘Euphoria’. After this I kept on producing Uplifting and Tech Trance which was closer to the sound I was looking forward to expand in Chile. In my soundcloud page you can still find some of my early releases like ‘Eternal Love’ and ‘Titan’. This year I finally accomplished the release of one of my tracks abroad ‘Phobos’ in Discover Digital.
Any future plans
Expand Trance music in Chile, improve my sounds and make my productions and my name well known abroad.
Any message for your fans
First of all thank you for all the constant support until now. Even though I know we are a few little by little we have accomplished making some noise in Chile. And well, I want to ask you to keep demanding Trance in Chile, even if the big producer companies will turn a deaf ear.

Any message for local music promoting pages? Anything to ask, doubt or complain about any of them?
Promote national product or at least from our own continent. We have big producers in Latin America like Khomha, Jonathan Carvajal, Heatbeat, Tomas Heredia, Criss Schweizer, Alvaro Santis, Liftwalkers among many others.

Cuentanos algo de tus inicios en la musica electronica
Aunque ya escuchaba este tipo de música por el año 2000, al no ser tan masivo y además vivir en Valparaíso, era muy poco lo que conocía sobre ella. Por el año 2006 conseguí un par de videos a través de bitorrent e IRC, uno de ellos era sobre la historia de una discoteca en Tokyo, Japón, cuyo nombre era velfarre; ahí tocaban estilos bastante diversos y a gran sorpresa, calcados de Europa, como el Eurobeat y el Trance. El otro video era sobre un festival ya extinto, Trance Energy; fue una gran sorpresa para mí ver a los mismos DJs en ambos videos, como a Johan Gielen y a system F (Ferry Corsten). Desde entonces, comencé una loca carrera por juntar música y buscar lugares para tocar para lograr festivales así en nuestro país.
¿Tus admiraciones? en quien te reflejas
Si hay un DJ que me inspiró por su energía y puesta en escena, ese es Johan Gielen. Sus sets en Trance Energy eran brutales, y cuando comencé, armaba mis sets con bastantes temas de sus tracklists. Otro de los DJs que me inspiró fue Yoji Biomehanika, gran DJ del país del sol naciente. Gracias a él, me introduje en el Hard Trance. Y en mi lado de promotor / productor de eventos, es Javier Bussola de Argentina una de mis mayores inspiraciones. Ver como levantó la escena trance en el vecino país me hace pensar todos los días en que hacer para lograr lo mismo acá.
¿Por que decidiste comenzar a producir?
Cuando comencé a mezclar en mi antigua y única residencia, El Huevo en Valparaíso, sentía que me faltaba identidad a mi sonido, ya que siempre tocaba temas de otros productores. Así con mi hermano Tediz sacamos nuestra primera producción Hard Trance, ‘Euphoria’. Luego seguí produciendo Uplifting y Tech Trance, ya que se acercaba más al sonido que estaba buscando expandir en Chile. En mi soundcloud puedes encontrar aún varios de mis primeros tracks, como ‘Eternal Love’ y ‘Titan’. Este año finalmente logré sacar uno de mis tracks en el extranjero, ‘Phobos’ por Discover Digital.
Tus proyecciones futuras
Expandir el trance en Chile, perfeccionar mi sonido y lograr hacerme conocido en el extranjero con mis producciones.
Algún mensaje para tus fans
Primero que nada, agradecerles el apoyo que me han dado hasta el momento. Se que somos pocos, y aun así, poco a poco hemos logrado meter ruido en Chile. Y bueno, pedirles que sigan pidiendo trance en Chile, aunque las grandes productoras hagan oídos sordos.
